Intermediate Algebra (Math 103): This course is an elementary course, which provides the students with the basic concepts and skills about numbers, polynomials and rational expressions along with algebraic operations. Also, it furnishes students with basic facts about relations and functions along with sketching of certain graphs of functions.

Calculus I: The course teaches all topics associated with Functions, Graphs, and Limits; Derivatives; and Integrals. This course in calculus consists of a full high school academic year of work that is comparable to calculus courses in colleges and universities. It is expected that students who take this course will seek college credit, college placement, or both, from institutions of higher learning.

Pre-calculus: The course approaches topics from a function point of view, where appropriate, and is designed to strengthen and enhance conceptual understanding and mathematical reasoning used when modeling and solving mathematical and real-world problems. Students systematically work with functions and their multiple representations. The study of Pre-Calculus deepens a student’s mathematical understanding and fluency with algebra and trigonometry and extends their ability to make connections and apply concepts and procedures at higher levels.

Probability and statistics: This course introduces students to the basic concepts and logic of statistical reasoning and gives the students introductory-level practical ability to choose, generate, and properly interpret appropriate descriptive and inferential methods. In addition, the course helps students gain an appreciation for the diverse applications of statistics and its relevance to their lives and fields of study.
