Hussain Al-Qassem is a professor of mathematics at Qatar University.  Prof.  Al-Qassem received his BSc. and MSc. In mathematics at Yarmouk University in 1990 and 1992, respectively. In 1999, he received his PhD. in mathematics (Harmonic Analysis) from the University of Pittsburgh. Upon graduation, Prof.  Al-Qassem joined the department of mathematics at Yarmouk University as an assistant professor where he was promoted to the rank of associate professor in September 2003.

Prof.  Al-Qassem joined the department of mathematics, statistics and physics at Qatar University in September 2006. He was promoted to the rank of full professor in October 2011. He has published more than 54 papers in international peer reviewed journals.

His  research interest is  on the mapping properties of Singular integral operators, Oscillatory integral operators, Maximal operators and  Marcinkiewicz integral operators. For more details, please see my C.V.
