Haneen B. Al-Qassass graduated from the college of Business and Economics at Qatar University and joined The Social & Economic Survey Research Institute (SESRI) as an Administrative Assistant in 2014.Three (3) months later, Haneen became a Research Assistant in which her scope of work includes different stages ranging from providing a support for researchers in designing and testing questionnaires, analyzing data using SPSS, STATA, and reviewing reports.
As an undergraduate student, she has conducted several survey research projects in many courses such as International Accounting, Consumer Behavior, Marketing Management and Education and Social Problems among others. Haneen had participated in several students’ activities and obtained her honor due to her outstanding performance including being listed on the Dean’s List for the fifth time (2012). She acquired several awards and certificates for her excellent academic records. In addition, a notable reward was a Crystal Model from (QCPA) for being one of top ten students in the Accounting Department.
Mrs. Al-Qassass participated in diverse conferences and workshops related to her specialization at Qatar. She has attended the following conferences that have added value and information: “The Second Accounting Conference”, “Reform of Financial Reports to Restore Confidence to Achieve Financial Stability, Growth and Regional Economic Integration”, and lastly “Islamic Accounting Workshop”.
Haneen’s first interest falls in all stages within the scope of research work in SESRI. Her favorite quotation is “Find your voice and inspire others to find theirs” which empowers her life to add values and places a noticeable stamp.
