Habib Ullah Khan holds the position of Professor of Information Systems within the Department of Accounting & Information Systems at the College of Business and Economics, Qatar University. He earned his Ph.D. in the field of Management Information Systems from Leeds Beckett University in the United Kingdom.
Prof. Khan boasts a rich academic background, having worked with prominent universities in the Gulf, USA, and Europe. Accumulating more than twenty years of experience, he has engaged in both research and professional roles within various multinational corporations, holding diverse managerial positions, and prestigious educational institutions in the United Kingdom, United States, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar.
Throughout his career, Prof. Khan has demonstrated his exceptional teamwork and leadership abilities. His diverse experience has equipped him with the skills to effectively manage multicultural students and workforces in educational institutions.
Prof. Khan excels in overseeing undergraduate and graduate-level teaching of Management Information Systems (MIS) and General Management courses at the university level. His proficiency extends to analyzing complex management procedures and leveraging his extensive knowledge of Information Systems to remain current with emerging technologies and their applications in the field of Management.
He has a proven track record in Information management, maintaining strong client relations, conducting training, and effective communication, even in high-pressure environments. His management expertise extends to the Gulf Region, where he has successfully navigated the challenges of this dynamic region.
Moreover, Prof. Khan is an active researcher, and his commitment to excellence in research has been recognized with Qatar University’s highest research excellence award in 2022. He has consistently ranked in the top 2% of researchers at Stanford University, USA, since 2021.
