She obtained her bachelor (1999) and PhD (2007) degrees from Auburn University, USA. Her research focuses mainly in the area of Process System Engineering that includes optimization and management of gas processing facilities, flare reduction, product design, \u00a0risk assessment and the inclusion of safety in design. Fadwa\u00a0has served as the Director of the Gas Processing Center (GPC) at Qatar University (2008 &#8211; 2010). The approach used in this research focuses on flare minimization and utilization.
