Moreover, I have published 100+ scientific articles, conference and journal papers and I am the recipient of several R&amp;DI grants, attracting (as LPI \/ PI) more than US$ 3.5 Million in the last few years. My research development and innovation [R&amp;DI] adopts cross-boundaries trans-disciplinary scholarly activities bridging arts and humanities with social sciences, and linking health and well-being to design through the implementation of digital technologies. My research expertise and interests span -but are not limited to- the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Smart Sustainable Built Environment [Cities and Buildings]<\/li>\n<li>Sustainable Architecture and Urban Design<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Sustainability Assessment and EIA<\/li>\n<li>Circular Design and LCA<\/li>\n<li>Building performance, evaluation (POE, BEF&#8230;) \u2013 Sustainability Assessment methods: BREEAM, LEED, GSAS, WELL.<\/li>\n<li>Digital Twins [DT], BIM and Digital Architecture<\/li>\n<li>AI in Architecture and Design<\/li>\n<li>Digitizing Built Heritage -HBIM\/HDT<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Research Expertise and Interests: I have expanded my R&amp;DI portfolio, expertise and capabilities by encouraging and supporting trans-disciplinary cross-boundaries research.
