img_size=&#8221;large&#8221;][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]Engi El-Maghraby is a research projects manager at the Social and Economic Survey Research Institute (SESRI).\u00a0 She obtained her Honours Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from the University of Toronto (Canada) before commencing on her studies at the American University in Cairo to complete her Master of Arts in Political Science with a concentration in development studies.\u00a0 Her M.A. thesis was entitled, \u201cFeminization of the informal sector in Egypt\u2019s garment industry and market vendors\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Before relocating to Qatar and joining SESRI in 2012,\u00a0 Mrs. El-Maghraby was working in the United Arab Emirates for the American University of Sharjah\u2019s Student Development and Organizations department.\u00a0\u00a0 She has previous\u00a0 working experience in Egypt and Canada where she worked on various research, administrative, volunteer and intern positions with the likes of the United Nations Development Program (Cairo), General Organization for Physical Planning (Cairo), the American University in Cairo and the University of Toronto.<\/p>\n<p>Other than having experience in managing and implementing research projects, her research interests are focused on gendered labor issues and economic development policies.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row full_width=&#8221;&#8221;
