الدكتور عماد عوض الله  يشغل حالياً منصب رئيس قسم المحاسبة ونظم المعلومات وهو أستاذ مشارك في المحاسبة بجامعة قطر، وعمل قبل ذلك في العديد من جامعات المملكة المتحدة مثل جامعة إيست لندن، جامعة إسكس، جامعة هارتفورشير، جامعة ميدلسكس، وجامعة ريجينتس. وقد حصل على درجة الدكتوراة في المحاسبة والتمويل من جامعة إسكس، كما حصل على درجتي البكالوريوس والماجستير من جامعة القاهرة – مصر. الدكتور عوض الله حاصل أيضاً على الشهادة المهنية كمحاسب إداري معتمد  والمعترف بها دولياً، وهو أيضًا زميل في أكاديمية التعليم العالي بالمملكة المتحدة. على الصعيد البحثي، يهتم الدكتور عوض الله بعمل الأبحاث في مجالي التدقيق والمحاسبة الإدارية وعلاقتهما بتوفير معلومات على درجة عالية من المصداقية والملائمة في اتخاذ القرارات لتحسين أداء المؤسسات مما يساعد على التنمية المستدامة خاصة خلال الأزمات الاقتصادية والعصر الرقمي. هذا وقد نشر العديد من الأوراق البحثية في المجلات الدولية وهو عضو في هيئة تحرير العديد من المجلات الدولية كما ساهم في تنظيم العديد من المؤتمرات الدولية وهو أيضًا عضو للجمعية الدولية العلمية للمحاسبة الإدارية بآسيا والمحيط الهادئ وقد كان أحد المساهمين الرئيسيين في تنظيم مؤتمرها الدولي التي استضافته جامعة قطر بالدوحة عام 2019. خلال مسيرة عمله في جامعة قطر، شارك الدكتور عوض الله في تطوير العديد من المقررات والبرامج التعليمية كما ساهم كرئيس للعديد من اللجان وبالأخص لجان الاعتماد الأكاديمي والتميز التدريسي والتعليمي، ولجنة التوظيف، وشارك كذلك كعضو في مجلس أعضاء هيئة التدريس في دورته السابعة. وقد كلل هذا كله حصوله على جائزة أفضل عضو هيئة تدريس في مجال الخدمات من قِبل كلية الإدارة والاقتصاد. بالإضافة إلى كل ما سبق، فإن الدكتور عوض الله لديه سجل حافل بالإنجازات في مجال التدريب والاستشارات.

Dr. Emad Awadallah is currently the Department Head of Accounting and Information Systems. He is an Associate Professor of Accounting at Qatar University, and before that he worked in several UK universities such as the University of East London, University of Essex, University of Hertfordshire, Middlesex University, and Regent’s University. He holds a PhD in Accounting and Finance from the University of Essex, and has a Bachelor and Master degrees from Cairo University – Egypt. Dr. Awadallah also holds the internationally recognized Professional Certificate Certified Management Accountant (CMA), and is also a Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy. On the research level, Dr. Awadallah is interested in publishing papers in the fields of auditing and management accounting and their relationship to providing information of high degree of credibility and relevance in making decisions to improve the performance of institutions, which helps in sustainable development, especially during economic crises and the digital era. He has published many research papers in international journals and is a member of the editorial board of many international journals and has contributed to the organization of many international conferences. He is also a member of the Asia-Pacific Management Accounting Association (APMAA) and has been one of the key contributors to the organization of its international conference hosted by the University of Qatar in Doha in 2019. During his career at Qatar University, Dr. Awadallah participated in the development of many educational courses and programs and contributed as the chair of many committees, especially the committees for academic program reviews, accreditation, excellence in teaching and learning, the recruitment committee, and participated as a member of the Faculty Senate in its seventh cycle. All that was reflected in awarding him the best service award by the College of Business and Economics. Dr. Awadallah also has a proven track record in the field of training and consulting services.
