Abu-Shanab<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p><em>Accounting &amp; Information Systems Department<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>College of Business &amp; Economics, Qatar University<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Prof. Emad A. Abu-Shanab earned his PhD in business administration\/MIS from Southern Illinois University \u2013 Carbondale, USA. His MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University in Canada, and his Bachelor in civil engineering from Yarmouk University (YU) in Jordan. He is a full professor in e-government, MIS area. His research interest lies in areas like <em>E-government, technology acceptance, E-marketing, E-CRM, Digital divide, IT project management, and E-learning<\/em>. Published many articles in journals and conferences, and authored three books in e-government. Prof. Abu-Shanab worked as an assistant dean for students\u2019 affairs, quality assurance officer in Oman, and the director of Faculty Development Center at YU.
