Dr. Dinesh Seth is currently associated with  Qatar university as associate professor in Mechanical and Industrial engineering department,college of engineering. He has Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Masters in Industrial Engineering & Management and doctoral degree (PhD). in Quality and Productivity Management Practices,(1996). His professional experience of +24 years(inclusive of overseas experience) of teaching, consulting, training, research and administration activities covers a very wide and diverse spectrum of industries and institutes.

He is the author of the famous book “Global Management Solutions: Demystified”, which is published by Cengage, Singapore and listed with Amazon.com. He is a recipient of, Best Reviewer Award from Emerald for JMTM, 2016 and Highly Commended Award from Emerald UK, 2006 for his outstanding research appeared in IJQRM. Because of his contributions in his subject areas, his name is appearing with Marquis’s Who’s Who in the World & USA 2007-08 and 2010 personalities.

His research papers in the areas of Quality Management , Lean, Process Improvement Techniques and Value Stream Mapping are among the most read and most cited studies (Emerald, Taylor and Francis, UK). Recently he got best reviewer award from Emerald (2016). He is on the editorial boards of  Production Planning and Control (PPC), Taylor and Francis (Impact factor 1.5) and Journal of Manufacturing Technology and Mangement (JMTM) (Emerald, Scopus indexed). His areas of interests are lean and value stream mapping, quality management, supply chain management, sustainable operations and health care management.
