At Qatar University, Al-Thani is involved in developing new approaches in teaching and learning and is mentoring QU faculty to improve their teaching.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Al-Thani\u2019s research on student\u2019s achievement and civic engagement was presented at the Comparative and International Education Society in 2019 in San Francisco, California.&nbsp;During her tenure at RAND Corporation, Al-Thani conducted extensive research in areas related to K-12 and Higher Education reform and development.&nbsp;Al-Thani holds a PhD degree in Educational Policy and Social Analysis from Columbia University.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight:
