Dr. Deepti Muley is a Research Associate at Qatar Transportation and Traffic Safety Center at Qatar University, Doha, Qatar. Her research interests include traffic safety, travel behavior, transport modelling, and sustainable modes of transport. She has research and teaching experience in Australia, India, Qatar. She has worked on two NPRP projects as a PostDoc and has completed two UREP projects as a lead PI. Apart from research, she has handled different consultancy projects in Qatar, India, and Australia. She is currently teaching Highway Engineering and Traffic Engineering to undergraduate students. She is also supervising undergraduate projects and graduate thesis.

Academic Qualifications

  • Doctor of Philosophy (2011) from Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia.
  • Master of Technology (2006) in Transportation Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, India.
  • Bachelors in Civil Engineering (2003) from Walchand Institute of Technology, Solapur, affiliated to Shivaji University, India.
