My research interests include many topics in computer and network security. I am particularly fond of research problems that require application of  mathematics to information and communication systems security.

Currently, my work focuses on security issues in interactions with a semi-honest party (typically a cloud service provider) with an emphasis on different aspects of computation on encrypted data.

    Haggle

An innovative Paradigm for Autonomic Opportunistic Communication

Haggle is an autonomic networking architecture designed to enable communication when network connectivity is intermittent. In particular, Haggle exploits opportunistic contacts between mobile users to deliver data to the destination.

At EURECOM, we were leading the security work package, and proposed innovative security protocols in opportunistic communications (where mostly end-to-end communication cannot be assumed).

Haggle is a European Union funded project in Situated and Autonomic Communications under FP6 (2006-2010)
