Research is the area where professors can have the passion to practice their ideas and thoughts in more real and empirical context. I have research interest and curiosity in contributing to a deeper understanding in areas related to organization behavior, human resources management, leadership, organization leaning, team building, and knowledge management. I do my best to examine and to investigate a real researchable “problem” or idea aiming to provide solid evidence to the decision and policy makers of what actions should be considered for achieving organizational efficiency and effectiveness to gain a strong competitive advantage. Moreover, I try to link my teaching mission with my research vision. The purpose of my research is to contribute magnificently in filling the knowledge and empirical gap in the area of HRM and organization behavior using quantitative and qualitative approaches.

In my research journey, I have published about thirty reviewed papers mainly in the field of leadership, human resource management, and organization behavior. The papers were published in indexed and reputable national, regional, and international journals. I wrote two papers about disabled employees in Jordan since this group has been neglected and there is a clear lack of information about their status at work. In addition, I examined the role of leadership in enhancing innovation, positive culture, and quality improvement. Moreover, I examined several important and interesting topics in management mainly team building, career development, social responsibility, knowledge management, and organizational learning.  In 2011, I obtained the: Award for Excellence: Highly Commended Award-Emerald Research, Paper: “The Role of Organizational Culture on Practicing Quality Improvement in Jordanian Public Hospitals.”

I look forward for significant research opportunities to enhance and improve the excellence of organizations to have better and easier life for humanity.
