Biography

Dr. Abdulaziz Ali Muhammad Al-Mannai obtained a PhD in Environmental Sciences in Climate Change from the University of East Anglia in Norwich, United Kingdom, in 2021. He is Assistant Professor in Applied Geography and Geographic Information Systems program at Qatar University, where he has been working since 1999. His fields of specialization are Physical Geography and Geographic Information Systems. Dr. Abdulaziz’s research interests are in the areas of environmental and climate change  and sea level rise, Water and food security, coastal management, landuse change patterns, and urbanization, using techniques of GIS, RS and quantitative statistical analysis.
